New Experiences....

The past couple of days Christopher has had some new experiences - the excersaucer and the swimming pool. His reaction to both was about the same - didn't hate it, but wasn't really excited about it either. The girls were much more excited about both! There's plenty of time for him to get used to and enjoy both. In the swimming pool, he just kind of sat there in the water. In the saucer, he played a little bit, but is still a bit wobbly in the upper body, so had a hard time keeping himself steady and got tired after only a short time. He'll get stronger and I'm sure he'll grow to enjoy it as his sisters did.

Summer's Here

Well, summer has kicked in here in St. Louis - I guess we can't complain too much since it is mid June. We've been to the pool a couple of times and gotten our inflatable one out in the back yard. The girls love to splash around in the water. Hopefully the misquitos won't get them too bad. We'll get Christopher out in the water soon, too.
Katherine LOVED VBS and, while I don't have any pictures to post right now, I'm hoping that someone got some of her at some point. It I get my hands on some, I'll certainly post. We've been listening to VBS music nonstop for the past 3 weeks. It's such a joy to hear her singing about Jesus so loudly and happily and to have so much fun with it.
I wanted to post just a few pics of the kids, too. Hope you all have a great week!

VBS - Avalanch Ranch!

Katherine has been going to VBS this week and having a blast! John took a week off work to help out and I think he's enjoying it as well. Today was "get wet" day and Katherine was talking about it all yesterday afternoon since she found out. I think she had a good time on the slip-n-slides and the sprinklers and such.

Testing, testing

I was inspired today by some other blogs that I was reading, so start a Bauer Family Blog. My earlier attemps at creating a web page on which we could post pictures was frustrating, so I thought I'd try this method. We'll see how it works. Here's a recent picture of the kids for starters!
