As Christopher nears his 2nd birthday this week, I found a couple of pictures that were just too cute for words. I can't believe he'll be 2. He's growing up into such a sweet little boy (most of the time!).

Winter
As winter goes, this one has been cold, but NOT snowy. Today we got I think our second somewhat significant snowfall.
This is how our day started - it was a "snow" day here in St. Louis, with most, if I dare not say all, of the schools being close because of our few inches of snow and sleet. It was predicted to be a bit more, but it kind of fizzled out, at least here on the northern side of town. Nonetheless, we got to stay home today, and John stayed home from work to partake of the fun there at home. The girls longingly looked out at the snow waiting for it to warm up a little bit.
After rest time, we headed out and the kids had a great time in the very powdery snow. Not good snow for snowballs or snowmen, but they did throw it around a little bit and helped John shovel, too!

It was a fun, relaxing day to sleep in (the kids slept till 8:15!) and just hang out with no agenda and noplace to be. That doesn't happen very often!
